In a recent interview, retired Compton PD officer and gang detective Bobby Ladd expressed his frustration with Greg Kading and the way he handled the investigation into the murder of Tupac Shakur. Ladd, a seasoned homicide detective who has worked on numerous gang-related cases, questioned why Kading offered immunity to Keefe D, a suspect in the case.

According to Ladd, granting immunity should only be a last resort in a case. He believes that Kading should have involved the Las Vegas Police Department, as it was their jurisdiction where the murder took place. Instead, Kading offered Keefe D immunity without notifying the Las Vegas PD.

Ladd argues that this was a mistake and questions how Kading can justify his actions. Giving immunity to a suspect in a murder case without involving the local police department is highly unconventional and would not be accepted by other seasoned homicide detectives.

Furthermore, Ladd highlights that Kading's decision meant that Keefe D's information could not be used in court. This decision frustrated the Las Vegas PD, who would have wanted to interview Keefe D themselves.

Ladd also dismisses Kading's claim that he solved the Tupac case. He states that it was the Las Vegas PD and the DA's office who solved the murder, not Kading. Ladd and his team had provided them with all the necessary information and motives, and they were the ones who ultimately solved the case.
