Former NBA star Gary Payton's criticisms that the Los Angeles Lakers need stronger leadership and not LiAngelo Ball was the focus of this clip with Lavar Ball. Ball hit back at Payton's comments, suggesting that during Payton's time with the Lakers, the team lacked leadership. Ball argues that leaders existed, dismissing any accusations of there being a leadership vacuum within the team. In a shocking move, Ball disputes the popular belief that James was the Lakers' leader, instead describing him as the 'face' of the team whose job it was to score, not lead. Another NBA icon, Dennis Rodman, came under fire after he publicly called LiAngelo Ball’s NBA chances awful.
