Cardi B took to Instagram Live to address shocking statements she made online and telling fans that she wanted to scrap her album amid criticism.
Cardi explained that she feels like she's going to "burst" while trying to shake off criticism, adding, "When I burst, I'm very outspoken. When I have one of my bad moments, I will literally get here and curse out everybody and f**k them."
She added, "That's just how I just be feeling at the moment. I was just very overwhelmed yesterday, I was very sad. I just felt like I was just having such a good week. And then I felt like, when I got home, and I just started paying attention to so much s*** that people was saying about me and all the funny s*** about me, I just started getting upset about it, I just wanted to burst. Cardi B took to Twitter on Tuesday (October 17) night to preview music for her upcoming album, which received mixed reactions from listeners.
While Cardi interacted with people criticizing her music, she seemed to go in a little bit more when one social media user criticized her work ethic. An X user wrote, "Cardi the only Mexican I know that don't work hard," which led to Cardi commenting, "Hope you and ur mom die."
When another user came at Cardi for wishing death on someone, she responded, "Idgaf f**k all y'all. Y'all can call me Mexican bring me down, hurt my feelings talk s**t about everything this why I don't release music." She then added, "I DON'T WANT TO DO MUSIC. THERES NO ALBUM."
