Recently, it was revealed that Queens emcee Royal Flush has been battling a very rare form of cancer in the form of Lymphoma.
Flush, known for his 1997 album ‘Ghetto Millionaire,’ which spawned the single “Worldwide,” a response to the East/West Coast rap tension in the ’90s, reportedly is dealing with grade 3A Follicular Lymphoma.
A GoFundMe was created for Flush, whose real name is Ramel Govantes, and more details were given about his current journey. “This rare and aggressive form of cancer has shaken Ramel's world and the lives of those who hold him dear,” said the GoFundMe. Many have taken to social media to bring awareness to the efforts to help out Flush, including acclaimed producer Buckwild and more. Stay tuned for more updates.
