While speaking to Vibe, Curry was asked about being mentioned by rappers in their songs, with Sexyy Red’s hit “SkeeYee” being the topic. “When Sexxy Red did it, I just started laughing,” said Curry. The lines mentioning the Warriors’ franchise player say: “My sister in the backseat with a .30/ N***** tryna shoot they shot, Stephen Curry.”
Curry continued saying, “I don’t know. I had never seen her at a basketball game.” Curry then pointed out how many times he thinks his name has been mentioned in songs, saying, “I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure there’s probably a website or something that could probably count it for you.” Curry’s teammate looked up the amount, which came to 106.
