During a recent interview, Birdman opened up about "raising" Lil Wayne and B.G. after signing them to Cash Money when they were just teenagers. B.G. was just 14 and Lil Wayne was 12 when they dropped their debut album, True Story, under their group name, the B.G.'z.
An excerpt of Birdman's interview made its way online, where the interviewer can be heard asking Birdman about the timeline of B.G. and Wayne living with him. He explained, "B.G. was already living with me. B.G.’s mom gave him to me."
When asked about his age, Birdman explained, "Seventeen, eighteen. I was a kid. I was a baby raising babies." You can watch in full above.
