In a recent online video, a woman refused to get out of a car because her date took her to the Cheesecake Factory. According to the woman, she refused to leave because the Cheesecake Factory is a chain restaurant.

During a discussion between Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco, Shannon argues that many other popular restaurants, such as Mastro's, Del Frisco, Catch LA, and Ruth's Chris, are also chains. He then questioned why the woman had such a strong reaction to the Cheesecake Factory specifically.

Reflecting on this situation, Shannon shared his own experiences with dating and the expectations that come with it. He explains that before moving to Los Angeles, he would always pick up his date from her home or apartment. However, in LA, he noticed that it was common for people to meet at the restaurant instead. He questions if this change in etiquette is indicative of a lack of interest or compatibility in a relationship.

Further discussing the issue, Shannon believes that many men nowadays feel used for their ability to pay for expensive meals. He argues that not everyone has the financial means to constantly dine at high-end restaurants, and it makes more sense to eat somewhere affordable. He believes that if someone constantly expects their partner to pay for expensive meals, it may not be a genuine connection.

To illustrate his point, Shannon shares a personal story from his past. He describes a date when he had limited funds but still wanted to treat his partner to a nice meal. However, when she mentioned what went with lobster, he jokingly responded, "condoms," because he couldn't afford an expensive meal and intimate activities. Unsurprisingly, the date didn't end well.

Shannon's response led to Ochocinco falling out of his chair with laughter, which you can view in full above.
