Professional basketball player Dwight Howard recently offered a light-hearted response to his sexual assault lawsuit. However, the future NBA Hall of Famer has issued a more stern response to critics focusing on his sexuality.
"Y'all can stop with the nonsense, worrying about all this bull crap. Mind your business," Howard said in his response on social media. "Why the hell do you or anybody care who the hell I spend my time with? That's the problem with y'all people. Y'all worrying about who people spend their time with. What I'm doing in my bedroom is my damn business."
Howard continued his response by reiterating that his private matters should be kept private and encouraged the public to keep their bedroom activities to themselves as well. The former NBA center also fired back at critics attempting to shame him for his alleged activities by calling them "weird" for worrying about his private matters.
The NBA champion's response comes after news broke about the professional athlete admitting that he engaged in "consensual sexual activity" with a man named Stephen Harper in July 2021. Harper filed a complaint against Howard earlier this year, accusing the basketball player of sexually assaulting him at Howard's Georgia home during their encounter.
Dwight Howard has denied all allegations filed against him in Harper's lawsuit.
