JT recently appeared on ’The Breakfast Club’ with Caresha to promote the City Girls’ new album and was asked about many topics beyond the project. One of the topics that came up was an incident that took place at the BET Awards, where JT and Uzi seemingly got into an altercation, leading to the City Girl storming out of the show.
JT explained that A$AP Bari played a part in the situation escalating. JT described the situation, noting Uzi told her he wanted to leave even though the BET Awards had just begun. “I had on this big-a** dress, so I’m thinking he leaving and about to send somebody back to come and get me. But when I get up, he down there chilling with Bari — his friend that he brought,” said JT. The rapper then called out Bari and Uzi in the situation, saying, “I feel like both of them as men, you should’ve got up quick, you should’ve thought fast. All of that extra sitting down like, ‘I’m at the awards.’ You ain’t no rapper, you should’ve got up.”
After the interview dropped, Bari took to social media to call out JT with some harsh words. The A$AP Mob co-founder accused the City Girl of lying, saying: “He ain’t want you there dusty b****. Stop lying. She was really mad about ice spice not me. She called him a groupie cause he was sitting next to her. B**** sold 6k talking about me.”
