Lavar Ball spoke about becoming a grandfather, the love lives of his sons, and their experiences in the NBA. Recalling his 2020 statement that his sons wouldn't meet good women during their NBA careers, Lavar confessed that his sons had found partners he liked. Lavar especially admired Ana, the older partner of his son LaMelo, for her maturity, loyalty, and business acumen. He also commended his sons' girlfriends for their independence and the balance they brought to his sons' lives, despite initial judgments people had about their relationships. As a new grandparent, Lavar proclaimed to be different from traditional grandfathers and jokingly mentioned his hopes for his grandchildren following the family sports legacy. Though not disappointed, his sons started their families young. Lavar stressed the importance of focusing on their careers, balancing their love lives, and the maintenance of two incomes.
