Previously, Max B took to social media and revealed that his time being locked up was almost done. The rapper went on to say, “Y’all know what it is. Shout out to the boy. The birthday boy just checking in. You already know. Man, I’m feeling good. It’s almost over. Two more joints, n****, I’m sliding out. Max Bigavell. 45, I feel good, look good. I taste good, I smell good, n****.”

Now, Max B’s manager Ty Black has given more information about the rapper’s possible release. During an interview on the ‘Faded and Fit’ show, Ty Black spoke on Max’s 75-year sentence being reduced by 55 years.

Ty was asked why he stood by Max’s side during his being locked up and replied by saying, “That’s my brother, why wouldn’t I?” Black noted that Max B also looked out for him when he wasn’t in jail because the two were friends. Ty then said, “I didn't care about the music at that time," he says. "Gotta make sure he good, cause at the end of the day that's my man. Cause Max took care of me when he was out, he put me in position.”

Max’s manager then revealed that Max’s sentence was reduced because of “ineffective [assistance] of counsel.” Watch above.
