Lil Wayne Says He's "Too Old and Too Tired" to Write Down Lyrics

Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz recently appeared on ‘UNDISPUTED’ with Skip Bayless, where the two discussed their process of writing lyrics. 

At the 6:20 mark of the video, Wayne went on to reveal that he doesn’t write down his lyrics these days, giving the reason behind the move. “Thank God for the iPhone. Before, I would have to remind myself all day because I don’t write nothing down. They always be thinking that it’s some type of achievement.”

When asked about the details of his process, Wayne said, “No, I don’t write because I’m too old and too tired to be trying to read. You know, they got the iPhone now so I go ahead and record the voice memo.”
