A few weeks ago, rapper Mase made headlines when he revealed some chilling details about the night rapper Biggie Smalls was killed. Mase claimed that after Biggie's murder, over 70 Bloods gang members came looking for him, but he was the only one who showed up in his hotel room to protect him. These comments sparked controversy and debates surrounding the events of that fateful night. While some dismissed Mase's claims as lies, it's important to consider the perspective of someone who genuinely feared for their life.

Mase, a native of Harlem, had traveled to Los Angeles with Stevie J and another individual. When Gene Deal spotted Mase driving around California in a drop-top white vehicle, he expressed his concern. Being from Harlem, Gene knew the potential dangers in unfamiliar territories and warned Mase about the violence that surrounded them. However, Mase assured him that he was safe and seemingly dismissed the warnings.

According to Mase, he did not attend the party where Biggie was murdered. He claimed to have been in his hotel room with Brandy. Worried about his safety, Gene contacted affiliates of the Black Gorilla Mafia, to provide Mase with protection. Mase had been informed that over 70 Bloods were present at the hotel, specifically targeting Biggie and Diddy.

Gene clarified that Mase wasn't lying about the incident after many people questioned his retelling of the incident, and you can hear more of what Gene had to say above.
