Cardone praised Ramsey as a "great guy" dedicated to helping people stay out of debt. Despite this, Cardone believes most Americans suffer from being too conservative and not taking enough financial risks. He added that once individuals are out of debt and want to build wealth, they might find Ramsey's advice limiting. Cardone emphasized the need for strategic debt in building a substantial real estate portfolio and said that while he uses credit cards, he never pays interest as he settles his full balance every 30 days.
