Former FBI agent Joaquin "Jack" Garcia discussed his career infiltrating the Mafia, notably his relationship with mobster Greg DePalma. Garcia spoke of his respect for DePalma’s adherence to old Mafia traditions and his family devotion despite the conflict between those two aspects of his life. He also discussed the successful conclusion of the Gambino case, which resulted in around 35 to 40 mobsters being arrested, including high-ranking members. Garcia, who retired from the FBI in 2006, dismissed rumors of a contract being out on his life, expressing more concern for potential encounters with former mobsters.
