Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross has been accused of assaulting his girlfriend and damaging her property, as stated in recently released court documents. The incident allegedly occurred in Johnson County, Kansas on October 23, after Ross discovered his girlfriend was cheating on him. According to the affidavit, Ross confronted his girlfriend, pushed her, threw her to the floor, and hurled objects at her, leaving her with a small scratch on her hand. Witnesses reported seeing Ross push the woman and run a knife across her vehicle.

Ross admitted to throwing the woman's belongings out after discovering her infidelity and breaking a computer, but denied damaging other items. He was arrested and charged with domestic battery and criminal damage. Ross pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for another court appearance on December 4. He has been placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List, prohibiting him from playing or practicing with the Chiefs, pending the outcome of his case.
