Recently, the nation was captivated by the dramatic capture of fugitive Marc Anderson, who had been on the run for weeks alongside a group of escaped inmates. Anderson's capture took place in Atlanta, in a high-rise condominium in Buckhead, approximately 90 miles from the jail he had escaped from.
On a fateful day, law enforcement officers from Bibb County, the state patrol, and the US Marshal's office surrounded the Huntley Condo high-rise in Buckhead, where Anderson was hiding. Residents of the condominium stated that the commotion sounded like a scene from an action movie. The arrest, which took place just after 3 p.m., marked the end of a lengthy manhunt.
After escaping from the Bid County jail in Macon, Anderson and three other inmates had successfully evaded capture for over a week. Anderson managed to find his way to Buckhead, where he sought refuge inside an unsuspecting resident's condominium. The exact details of how law enforcement tracked him down remain undisclosed, but it is known that they arrested a woman in Macon beforehand, whom they believed had been assisting Anderson.
