Reports noted that a luxury space hotel is scheduled to open up in 2025. The availability of these space hotels have yet to be released. However, it is safe to assume that they will come with a hefty price tag due to the novelty and exclusivity of such an experience.
The idea of space tourism is familiar, with several companies already offering suborbital flights for wealthy individuals. However, staying overnight in space takes it to a whole new level. Imagine waking up to a view of Earth from your hotel room window, floating in zero gravity while enjoying the ultimate luxury experience.
The Above Space Development Corporation plans to make this dream a reality by 2025. They are in the process of building two hotels in orbit, the Voyager Station Hotel and the Pioneer Station Hotel. The Voyager Station Hotel is expected to accommodate more than 400 people, while the Pioneer Station Hotel will be smaller, catering to only 30 guests.
One of the exciting features of these hotels is the option of artificial or zero gravity. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the sensation of weightlessness or choose to have artificial gravity simulating Earth's conditions. This could open up endless possibilities for leisure activities like floating swimming pools or zero-gravity gyms.
While details on the price and availability of these space hotels are still under wraps, it is not hard to imagine that it will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience that only a select few can afford. However, with the increasing interest and demand in space tourism, it is possible that prices may become more accessible in the future.
