Nicki Minaj took to Instagram to issue a plea to her fans about threatening people on her behalf. Nicki pointed to her upcoming album being her main focus, insinuating that she doesn't want any drama overshadowing her new project.
On Sunday (November 5), Nicki wrote, "Be sure to never threaten anyone on my behalf. Whether on the internet or in person. Whether in jest, or not. I don’t & never have condoned that." Nicki added, "We have an amazing album around the corner 12/08/23. It feels so surreal and euphoric. Wishing you blessings on blessings."
This comes after Nicki's husband, Kenneth Petty, was placed on house arrest after making online threats to Offset. A judge ordered Petty to serve up to 120 days on home detention for "making threatening remarks toward a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record."
