Popular DC rapper Baby Jamo was arrested by Capitol Police on Monday (November 6) morning after a stolen car crashed into a barricade at the Capitol Building.

Baby Jamo, real name Ricardo Glass, was arrested alongside a man named Onosetale Okojie after a white Infiniti Q50 crashed into the barricades. Police claim that the car was idling at a green light, catching their attention, and they attempted to pull over the car. However, they led police on a chase, which ended with the crash. Glass and Okojie were arrested after attempting to flee on foot.

Police linked guns to the pair, which added to the list of 20 felonies, including two charges of carrying a pistol without a license, unauthorized use of a vehicle, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property of $1000 or more, and possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device.

USCP Assistant Chief Sean Gallagher commented on the incident in a press release, stating, "This is just another example of our officers and their vigilance and perseverance putting away dangerous criminals. They are constantly working to keep everyone safe throughout the Capitol Complex."
