DJ Khaled recently spoke about having financial issues in 2015 during a cover story for ‘Rolling Stone.’ The DJ and producer noted his issues almost caused him to lose his mansion.

Khaled noted he just put a massive amount of paper into “We The Best,” his company. “I remember I had like a month to come up with this amount of money. I kept saying, ‘There’s no way in the world that we worked this much this far, and we don’t have nothing to show for it.’ I changed that right away,” said Khaled.

The producer then continued saying, “I was like, ‘Yo, if I want a family, I got to get my shit right.’ And I gambled on myself. I always bet on myself from day one. But I tripled down that day.” The revelation from Khaled is surprising, as the producer typically shows off his success instead of more challenging times he's experienced in his career.
