Royce revealed that Dwight walked into the concession stand at the movies, where she was with her friends. At first, she wasn't interested, as she already had a boyfriend. But fate had other plans. A breakup led her to give Dwight a chance, and they began dating.
Royce spoke about their relationship having its ups and downs. She discovered that Dwight was cheating on her with one of her dance teammates, causing tension among her friends. However, thing took a different turn when Royce discovered she was pregnant.
Royce spoke about panic setting in, as she saw her dance career slipping away. The thought of an abortion crossed her mind, but she confided in her parents, who convinced her to reconsider. Knowing her family's conservative views, she hesitantly shared the news with her father, who encouraged her to take responsibility for the child.
