Atlanta rapper Ralo was released from federal prison on Wednesday (November 8) morning after spending six years behind bars. The "Can't Lie" rapper was greeted by friends and family following his release, and he appeared to be in great spirits.

Ralo was arrested in April 2018 on federal drug trafficking charges, and late last month, he revealed in a message on Instagram that he would be released soon. Ralo paid tribute to his friend, the late rapper Marlo, in his message, which read, "Marlo told me not to worry he was going to be the first person at the gate waiting on me when this s*** over. My release is in two weeks and I know life goes on, but this s*** aint da same as when we was passing this money around we was all happy and helping eachother, nowadays people doing they best to kick others down, so they can stand above them, but the only way thats going to happen is if im in my grave with Marlo. I aint going for none strange."
