Tim also commented on the irony of the NBA promoting legal sports gambling and organizations capitalizing on the tax revenue. In 2021, he joined Major League Wrestling as a referee, which was financially rewarding. When asked about players betting on themselves, Tim affirmed this was happening in sports like the NBA, despite it being a contested ethical issue.
