According to reports, former star NFL cornerback D.J. Hayden was killed in a tragic car crash in Houston.
Houston Police Department Assistant Chief Megan Howard spoke on the matter, saying the accident happened at 2 AM Saturday between a Chrysler 300 and an Acura SUV.
The crash resulted in the deaths of six people. Howard went on to say, “It appears to be going very fast, high velocity. At the scene, there were a total of four individuals pronounced deceased.” Howard then noted that another four people were taken to the hospital, but two of them passed away later on, saying: “We have a total of five males deceased, one female deceased.”
Hayden entered the NFL via the 2013 NFL Draft and previously played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Lions, and Oakland Raiders. It was noted that another NFL player—Zach McMillian, was killed in the crash.
