Previously, Lil Yachty spoke about the “imitation” and “low-quality rap” that is currently present in the world of hip-hop, referring to all of it as “terrible.” Now, Yachty has reacted to a fan who called him out for his comments.
Via the X platform, the fan responded to a headline featuring the comments from Yachty about imitation, saying, “U just signed 4 female Veezes and U imitate Earl [Sweatshirt] when he raps over Alchemist beats dude.”
Yachty wasn’t a fan of the remark, saying, “I signed one girl. And I don’t imitate earl… u n****s just be talkin bro.. U n****s who hide behind pop culture pictures just be sayin anything for likes and retweets.”
The rapper then fired off another post aimed at the comment, saying, “U n****s will tweet [something] negative bout me to get all them likes just to post that weak ass SoundCloud link under it and nobody clicks that s***.”
