Kodak Black’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, has made a substantial claim against the Broward Sheriff’s Office, accusing them of a significant cover-up that involved an FBI Special Agent named James Mitchell. According to Cohen, Mitchell has a bias against Kodak Black.

Cohen says that prosecutors tried to withhold body camera footage of an officer doing surveillance on the rapper, with the officer saying he is “always ready” while the camera is focused in on the cop’s gun.

Along with that, Cohen pushed for the dismissal of a drug case against the rapper, saying the pain pills found on him in a prior arrest in July 2022 were completely legal and over the counter. The rapper was previously hit with charges that included trafficking oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance.
