In the latest episode of The Pat Bev Podcast, Patrick Beverley criticized former teammate Karl-Anthony Towns for not intervening when Draymond Green choked Rudy Gobert during a recent game between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Beverley expressed disappointment in Towns' lack of action, stating that in such a situation, there should have been a collective effort to defend their teammate. He pointed out that Draymond Green strategically targeted the largest player, Rudy Gobert, and Towns and Anthony Edwards (Ant) should have taken a stand against the aggression.

While emphasizing that he does not endorse violence, Beverley stressed the importance of teammates supporting each other in such situations. He concluded by expressing his belief that Towns should have responded more assertively, stating, "I taught you better than that." Beverley and Towns were teammates during the 2021-2022 NBA season with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
