Tee Grizzley recently sat down with Angela Yee on her "Way Up with Angela Yee" platform, and he spoke about Kai Cenat going viral with his 7-day jail live stream.
Cenat's live stream was filled with celebrity guests, including Druski and Chrisean Rock. However, Tee Grizzley explained that he would've turned down the invite, stating, "That was probably a fun experience for [Kai]. It's just showing people what it's like in there. I don't look at it like he nothing bad, or nothing wrong. If I was invited, I personally probably wouldn't have went because I don't miss that s***."
As he's spoken about in the past, Tee Grizzley was sentenced to 15 years on an armed robbery charge in 2016. He was released after just 18 months after he studied law books while behind bars, which he spoke about with "Million Dollaz Worth of Game."
Tee explained, "They say we armed cause of the sledgehammer right? So I get in the law book. First thing I see I go to that type of s***, and they say, ‘You can only consider something a weapon if they use it to threaten somebody and demand something.’ I ain’t never told nobody I was gonna hit them with the hammer. I ain’t raised nobody or nothing. So they can’t say that that’s a weapon."
He added, "And I told my lawyer that and my lawyer surprised like, ‘No you right.’ I’m like, ‘The f*** you mean I’m right? You knew this before me. I get to tell my co-defendant, ‘Look read the law book. Look at every case,’ and we end up getting up out that motherf***er."
