Donald Trump recently spoke about gun violence in Chicago, saying, “What’s going on in Chicago? I said the other day: ‘What the hell is going on?’” Trump is gearing up to run for office again in the 2024 Presidential Election.

During an interview with Ari Melber on MSNBC, Lil Durk reacted to the comments from Trump, saying, “I really don't pay it no mind, 'cause there's violence everywhere. Every city had its moment with the rates. If you look up right now who got the [highest murder rate] right now, I betcha it ain't Chicago. That's why I really don't comment on it because every city will have its day.”

Durk’s words come months after his concert in Chicago was cut short due to a false report of a shooting.
