Part 1: Valee on Being Born in Chicago's Robert Taylor Homes, Once America's Largest Project
--------
In this clip, Valee spoke openly about collaborating with departed rapper Juice WRLD, remembering how inspired he was by the late star's effortless grasp of melody and his vibrant energy in the studio. Valee revealed that he has several unheard recordings with Juice WRLD but is unsure when or if they will ever be released. Valee also briefly touched on issues of industry politics, insisting they didn't heavily influence his process, as he is primarily focused on the act of creating music itself. He reminisced about the making of the mysterious, abandoned version of "I Love It," featuring himself alongside Kanye West and Lil Pump. Wrapping it up, Valee discussed his collaboration with legendary music producer Harry Fraud and how their project challenged him to up his lyrical game and experiment with double entendres in his songs.
