An auto dealership in Texas has been hit by two mischievous canines, causing extensive damage to vehicles worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Surveillance footage obtained by ABC13 shows the dogs tearing off bumpers and fenders at G Motors dealership on three separate nights between November 6 and November 18. The estimated cost of damages to five cars ranges from $100,000 to $350,000, according to sales manager Gaby Fakhoury.
The source of the dogs is still unknown, and employees are trying to figure out where they are coming from. Interestingly, the first incident was captured on video and revealed the presence of a cat, which suggests that the dogs may be after the felines that presumably find refuge in the dealership's lot. Although such behavior is surprising, Fakhoury expressed his shock at the power that dogs can possess to tear apart cars.
Meanwhile, G Motors is struggling financially as they cannot sell the damaged cars during this time. The dealership is unwilling to claim insurance as they estimate losses ranging from $100,000 to $350,000. However, their primary concern is not financial but rather focused on the safety of their employees and customers. They do not want to wait until someone gets seriously injured before resolving the issue.
