Recently, The Clipse was honored with their own day in Washington, D.C., which Pusha T proudly showed off on Instagram.
The honor came during a trip the Virginia rap duo recently made, which found them performing at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Pusha T took to Instagram to show a recap of the days leading to the moment, saying: “11/16 – 11/17, WASHINGTON DC. IDEA GENERATION SIT-DOWN, CLIPSE AT THE KENNEDY CENTER, ROSEBAR AFTERPARTY. ‘A SURVIVORS CELEBRATION…’”
Pusha then spoke on folks involved in the journey to getting the honor, saying, “Special thanx to @themarcbarnesdc and @theparkat14th, @mrtonylewisjr and Tony Lewis Sr. for the heartfelt show intro, and @mayor_bowser for naming Nov. 17th ‘Clipse Day’ in the nation’s capital.” Take a look above.
