According to TMZ, Diddy has temporarily stepped away from his role as Chairman of Revolt amid the two lawsuits filed after he settled a lawsuit with his ex-girlfriend, Cassie.
Sources close to Diddy revealed that he decided to step away from his role as Chairman last week. They noted that Diddy isn't involved in the day-to-day workings of the media platform, adding that CEO Detavio Samuels and Chief Brand Officer Deon Graham have been running things.
Diddy's attorney has responded to the lawsuits, including one woman claiming that he and Aaron Hall raped her and a friend in 1990 or 1991. The attorney stated, "The claims involving alleged misconduct against Mr. Combs from over 30 years ago and filed at the last minute are all completely denied and rejected by him. He recognizes this as a money grab. Because of Mr. Combs' fame and success, he is an easy target for accusers who will falsify the truth, without conscience or consequence, for financial benefit."
The statement continues, "The New York Legislature surely did not intend or expect the Adult Survivors Act to be exploited for improper purposes. The public should be skeptical and not rush to accept these unsubstantiated allegations."
