The Game discussed the early stages of his career and the decisions leading up to his signing with Dr. Dre. Before aligning with Dre, he was in discussions with Diddy. The Game recalled running with the Bad Boy CEO, attending parties, and visiting the studio. However, most of their interactions were casual, and he never got the chance to record anything. When The Game informed Puff of Dre’s interest in signing him, Puff reportedly encouraged the move, believing Dre was a better fit. The Game also touched on his “QB 2 Compton” mixtape, clarifying he wasn’t involved in its making. Although the mixtape featured him alongside Nas, he had never met the rapper at the time but acknowledged the project’s popularity.
