Jacob LaGrone, whose opulent wedding gained viral attention, is now facing potential life imprisonment for allegedly shooting at North Texas police officers in March. The 29-year-old groom, known for the extravagant "Wedding of the Century" with Madelaine Brockway, spent $59 million on a five-day celebration in Paris. LaGrone appeared in a Texas court, charged with three counts of aggravated assault against a public servant, carrying a maximum sentence of life in prison.
The charges stem from an incident where he allegedly fired at officers responding to disturbance calls at his address. A plea deal offering 25 years in prison has been presented to LaGrone. His wife, Madelaine Brockway, did not appear in court during the indictment.
