In this clip, Pete Rose boasts about having seven 20-game-or-more hitting streaks, with 1968 marking his first one. In 1978, Rose achieved a 44-game streak. He predicts someone could reach a 57-game streak, modifying his previous statement that you had to be a great hitter and have a lot of luck. In 1969, Rose hit a career-high of .348, due in part to having good offensive players behind him and setting high personal and team goals. His most famous game, the 1970 All-Star game, is well-documented, with Rose recalling it as a significant match-up where he led his team to victory.
