In 2022, it was revealed that Snoop Dogg acquired Death Row Records. Snoop announced many plans for the label, noting that he planned on paying back royalties for artists who contributed to the legendary record label over the course of the company’s build-up to success and beyond. 

Former Death Row artist and Dogg Pound member Kurupt recently spoke on his situation with the storied label, saying he was more than fine with Snoop Dogg taking over the label. Because of Snoop’s business move, Kurupt explained to TMZ that his royalty checks for his Death Row projects have been clearing with ease. 

This comes after Kxng Crooked told Snoop Dogg that Death Row Records owed him six figures.
