DJ Clue made waves earlier this year after the show host and mixtape DJ staple detailed walking by the Bad Boy Records crew unharmed after his life was threatened by the late Notorious B.I.G. while walking to a 7-Eleven. Now, Clue has taken to social media to call out rappers who are doing freestyles that don’t mirror the actual practice of rapping.
Via X, Clue said, “2024, no more freestyles with autotune and song melodies FOH.” Clue then doubled down in another post, calling the new wave of freestyles from newer artists “sad.”
“N***** ain’t even freestyling for real no more… they doing songs W T F!” said Clue. He concluded, “N***** gotta get back to it for real… s*** is sad.” Take a look above.
