Earlier this year, it was revealed that Young Buck’s music catalog was heading to auction to pay off his debt owed to 50 Cent. Now, it appears that the rapper’s catalog is set to be sold for almost $700,000.
Court documents noted that trustee Erica Johnson put in a court order for approval this past Friday, December 7. The amount listed will reportedly satisfy all the rapper’s debts in the bankruptcy case. The order proposed that Buck’s ASCAP and Universal catalog be sold to a buyer—Middleton Open Season Partners LLC for $730,000 in total.
The exchange will find Buck’s debts being cleared, which include a T-Mobile bill, two Department of Treasury liens, and his past child support payments. It was noted that lawyers for the rapper have until December 28th to file a “timely response” to the sale of the catalogs. Stay tuned for more updates.
