Recently, footage surfaced of Travis Scott and legendary tennis player John McEnroe getting into a heated argument about the name of their Nike Mac Attack sneaker.
The collaboration was being discussed during a Zoom meeting with both the stars, along with Nike executives. In the clip, McEnroe told Scott he doesn’t approve of the rapper’s push to name the shoes Cactus Jack, saying he prefers “Cactus Mac.”
Travis Scott wouldn’t bend to the suggestion, which caused McEnroe to begin yelling. “Come on, man! Show some respect! This is my shoe!” screamed the tennis player. Scott stood behind his point, which caused the tennis player to say, “Forget it,” before abruptly leaving the Zoom. Watch above.
