Earlier this year, Lil Durk’s show in Chicago was cut short after a false report of a shooting taking place. The successful rapper has spoken about gang life in music, describing scenarios from where he grew up at in Chicago. However, he recently took to social media to inform everyone he isn’t tied to any gang and that he looks to place himself in the space of religion.
Via his Instagram story, Durk said: “I’m not a gang member, [I’m a] Muslim 🤍.” Durk’s actions are in line with what he’s saying, as the rapper previously met with the Mayor of Chicago. Along with that, the rapper reportedly squashed his feud with NBA Youngboy. Take a look above.
