André 3000 recently sat down with Questlove for an episode of his "Questlove Supreme" podcast, and he was asked about doing the remix of Unk's 2007 hit song "Walk It Out."
André explained that he wasn't paid for the song because he had asked DJ Unk to do some beats for his cartoon, "Class of 3000," and he agreed to hop on the remix after hearing the beat. André explained that "the beat was so jammin" that he couldn't pass up the opportunity.
André added, "Any rapper just wanna be on a good beat and be in the city. You just wanna be out, you wanna be heard." You can hear more above.
