The Game opened up about the tension between him and 50 Cent, which escalated when 50 Cent publicly stated in a radio interview that The Game was no longer part of the group G-Unit and questioned his songwriting abilities. This led to a confrontation between the pair and their respective entourages outside the Hot 97 radio station, where a shootout left the venue under lockdown.
