Patrick Bet-David recently shared how he managed to land an interview with the late basketball star, Kobe Bryant. Bet-David, known for his strategic approach to business planning, used ambitious and creative methods over a decade to make this interview come to fruition. In 2010, he crafted a video predicting that he would one day interview Bryant. He then sought out significant figures from Bryant’s life, like James Worthy and Magic Johnson, in order to gain credibility in Bryant’s eyes. Despite the logistical challenges of coordinating the interview alongside an appearance from President Bush, Bet-David spoke highly of his encounter with Bryant. The retirement plans Bryant shared during the interview stood out, aligning with Bet-David’s belief in aggressive goal-setting in business. He also mentioned having Shaq block him for three years, following a controversial question posed during the Bryant interview.
