Amid the news of Draymond Green being suspended by the NBA indefinitely after hitting the Suns' Jusuf Nurkić in the head earlier this week, 50 Cent took to Instagram to react to the news.
Like most things, 50 Cent found humor in the situation, writing, "😆This fool is my favorite basketball 🏀 player, WTF Is wrong wit him." FIf then proceeded to apologize on behalf of Draymond, writing, "🤷🏽♂️that was a mistake, I will apologize for him. 🤨come on it’s a physical game."
This comes after Draymond apologized while speaking to reporters after the game, as he stated, "“I’m not one to apologize for things I meant to do. But I do apologize to Jusuf. Even though I didn’t intend to hit him, I sell calls with my arms. I don’t fall to sell a call. I’m not a flopper. I was just selling the call because he was grabbing and pulling my hip. So, I spun away. And, unfortunately, I hit him."
