Draymond Green was suspended indefinitely by the NBA after he struck Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic during a game that went down with the Golden State Warriors. Previously, Green got himself a five-game suspension after he choked out Rudy Gobert in a game that got heated. Now, Gobert has given his take on Draymond’s situation.
While speaking to ESPN, Gobert said, “I have empathy for him. You see somebody that’s not well inside and suffering. You take away the game and all that, and you want somebody to be well and be able to do what we do every night and compete and be happy.” Gobert’s commentary came after the Timberwolves beat the Dallas Mavericks 119-101.
