On Carmelo Anthony and the Kid Mero's latest podcast, "7PM in Brooklyn," the duo shared their amusement over Stephen A. Smith's newfound status as the "internet's new favorite love doctor."

During the "FWI or FOH" segment at the 1:13:35 mark of the second episode, Mero gleefully recounted Smith's recent endeavors, including his claim that Sunday is the "worst day of the week to be horny."

Mero posed the question to Melo, asking, "Stephen A. Smith becoming the internet's new favorite love doctor—we messing with it, or is it a 'get outta here'?" Both erupted in laughter as Anthony humorously characterized the First Take host as "R&B after dark," playfully imitating a DJ announcing "smooth voice, smooth tunes." Melo jokingly continued, "'Sunday is not the best day [to be horny]'...yo, Stephen A., man, shout out to my brother Stephen A. But I ain't messing with that, man."

Mero emphatically declared, "Get outta here, Steve. You too horny, my G." The duo couldn't contain their laughter at Smith being asked about his preferred day for intimacy. Melo added, "Yo, Stephen A., shout out, my guy, you know you family, you know that—but that's crazy. ... You might put some music, put a soundtrack behind your shit. Slow RPMs. ... I respect Stephen A., my brother, man, and I seen where he came from, but I ain't with the freaky shit, though."

In a previous month, Smith responded to a fan's inquiry about the worst day to be amorous, stating, "Worst day of the week to be horny to me is Sunday night, 'cause chances are most people gotta work Monday morning." Since then, the 56-year-old has shared his favorite romantic tunes, addressed accusations of being "freaky," provided dating advice, and expressed his views on augmented versus natural buttocks, all while emphasizing his unique approach to relationships.
