The artist now officially known as Ye, formerly Kanye West, has launched the first Yeezy shoe since his separation from Adidas due to a series of antisemitic remarks, or what he's describing more accurately as his "liberation" from the company. The "YZY POD" foldable sock shoe was introduced with a presale price of $200 on Ye's X social media page, emphasizing its authenticity. Despite the product release, Ye faced another controversy as footage emerged of a 10-minute rant in Las Vegas, featuring offensive remarks about Jews. The artist's previous lucrative partnership with Adidas was severed in October of the previous year.
