Bun B has found himself carving out a lane in the world of food, as his brand Trill Burgers has seen much success. The UGK artist and entrepreneur has gotten a stamp of approval on his restaurant from Drake, Tyler, The Creator, Booker T, and more. Now, Bun revealed that more Trill Burger locations in other cities may be on the horizon.
While on the AUX MONEY podcast, Bun spoke about what he sees for his Trill Burgers brand, saying he wants the brand to grow beyond Houston. “We created this brand to scale up and scale out. So while I am proud of the fact that we started this company in Houston and Houston helped us to get to where we going, I want this to be as much of a cultural export as UGK’s music was,” said Bun B.
From there, Bun explained his plan to grow ‘Trill Burgers.’ “I want it to be representative of the city and associated with the city just as strongly, so I do plan to scale this burger out to other cities for sure. Definitely going to probably stay in Texas for the most part in the earliest stages because it’s going to be easiest for us to maintain consistency and source ingredients in a financially viable way,” said the rapper.
